extraordinary weddings

Listen to Colin describe this event.
Who says you have to wear a white dress to your wedding? For this winter wedding in the snowy mountains of Colorado, our bride wore a cranberry red dress that was striking against a backdrop of white snow as she came up the mountain in a horse-drawn sleigh. Guests arrived to find a welcome package of hand warmers, a schedule of activities, and a personalized bag to hold their shoes as they snow-shoed up the mountain to the ceremony.
Once up the mountain, guests were guided to the ceremony location by columns and urns made of ice and filled with red tulips. In a hallway lined with hurricane candles and red roses, guests changed their shoes and then took their seats for the ceremony. The bride and groom exchanged vows at dusk in front of a wreath of red roses, greens, and velvet ribbons. As they said “I do”, the entire mountain was illuminated in white light. Dinner, served buffet-style, created a warm and family-oriented atmosphere. The cake, frosted in white with red icicles and cranberries, brought another aspect of warmth to a chilly evening in the mountains. Guests danced all night in our Winter Wonderland, then retreated to their beds with warm wishes for the new couple.
