Kabobs


Just about anything can be put on a kabob for a dramatic presentation and greater ease in eating. Half-kabobs are the perfect finger food for cocktail parties.

  • Consider chicken with a sate dipping sauce; shrimp with a tandoori marinade or fruit glaze, or vegetables basted with extra virgin olive oil and fresh minced herbs.
  • Mix and match on each skewer; shrimp with plantains or red bell pepper, chicken with sweet onions, and lamb with cherry tomatoes and bay leaves.
  • As a change to the traditional metal skewer, use bamboo skewers, rosemary branches, or lemon grass.
