NAEEM KHAN DESIGNS

I met Naeem by chance when he and his gorgeous wife Ranjana were invited to mutual friends for dinner. I really wasn’t in a great mood that entire day, as I had a CBS Early Show appearance at 7 am that morning and my allergies were really acting up. I took two sniffs of Afrin before going on air and went into a whirlwind for the entire day. Anyway, from the moment we met that evening, it was love at first sight and we’ve become the best of friends ever since. Naeem and Ranjana gave my partner and me a ride home that evening, and to this day, we try to see each other as often as possible. I’ve since become an admirer of Naeem’s work. He is one of the most talented fashion designers I’ve ever known. His family has been in the clothing business for generations, and from the time he was young, he’s worked in the business. In the 70s he moved to New York, worked with Halston, and his career as a designer exploded. About five years ago, he started his own fashion house, Naeem Khan. His clothes are magnificently sexy and elegant, something very few designers, if any, are able to achieve. His fabrics, his beadwork, and his understanding of luxury along with his knowledge of construction, makes each piece a true masterpiece. From evening gowns for your next glamorous occasion to embroidered caftans for strolling the streets of Capri, his collections are at Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Don’t miss the chance to see his creations, and if you’re lucky enough to wear one, you’ll know exactly what I mean.
