| Yaniv CohenAs the oldest of five boys, Yaniv always helped his mother in the kitchen, and soon developed a passion for cooking and entertaining. By the age of ten he took over the majority of household cooking responsibilities. “I burned quite a few dishes in the process, but it was all part of the learning experience,” says Cohen. A year after he landed in New York City, he catapulted himself from restaurant server to general manager to food and beverage consulting.
Three years ago, Yaniv partnered with Shai Tertner to create Shiraz FL, Miami's hottest and most desired catering company. By fusing delicious flavors and stylish presentation standards with clients’ desires and visions, Shiraz FL rapidly generated an exclusive list of corporate and private clients from Miami to Palm Beach.
Life experiences in Tel Aviv, Venice, New York, Los Angeles, and Miami Beach broadened Yaniv’s cultural and culinary palates. He brings a little of each to his food inventions. “Learning the value of being a good host came from feeling welcome in homes and at parties across the world. It reminds me of my mother entertaining at home, when any neighbor popping by for coffee was an excuse for a dinner party.”
